It’s almost the end of the month so I thought I would do a monthly favourites post.
Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner – Stila
Stila is one of my favourite makeup brands, primarily because when I was first getting into makeup I could always find something to match my skin. I love this eyeliner because it’s my fail safe eyeliner, perfect for rushing out the door. I recently repurchased this after trying a few other brands and I think it will be a while before I try anything new again.
Victoria Secret Fragrance
I’ve been using love secret from the body mist range for a couple of years now and it’s fantastic – definitely one of my favourite scents. But when I recently ran out and ended up buying the strawberries and champagne scent. The two are quite similar but I’m thoroughly enjoying this – perfect for the summer weather.
Kerastase Nutrituve Masquintense
A few months back I dyed my hair pink but it’s been a bit of a struggle to keep it healthy. I’m very low maintenance with my hair and often just tie it up in a bun. This condition was recommended to me by my hair dresser….. I was more than a bit sceptical despite knowing a few people who love this range But it works – It’s been over a month and my hair still feels fantastic!
Zara Home Gingerbread Candle
Gingerbread is the best part of the Christmas session – I’ve already had a few gingerbread lattes and cookies so it made sense to grab the candle. It’s amazing – the packaging is super cute and the scent fills my room with Christmas spirit – what’s not to love?
Speaking of Gingerbread (if you can’t tell yet I’m a big fan) – these are back in stores! Last Christmas a friend introduced these to me and we went through a lot of packets while studying. At some point I’m going to have to learn how to make them so it can be a year round treat.
SNS (Dipping Powder Manicure)
This was an unexpected favourite – I knew a few people that had SNS done for their manicure and liked it so I when I got my recent manicure I thought I’d give it a go. What I did not expect when I went to work the next day was that I would be painting walls and putting together furniture – not great when you just got your nails done! But shockingly every time I looked at them my nails were fine (well covered in paint but otherwise fine). This photo was taken almost a week after I had a the manicure done!
If you’re in New Zealand, I highly recommend going to Clover’s in Gulf Harbour 🙂
